Fencers in Hong Kong are now having a chance to meet with your idol, Valerio Aspromonte, the Italian Olympic Gold Medalist in London 2012, along with Stefano Cinotti, a reputable fencing maestro (highest level coach) for all 3 weapons in Pisa, Italy.

They will show you and discuss with you the Italian school of fencing and how to make it all the way to the world rank. Some demonstrations will make you acclaimed and the visit will be full of fun and inspirative to fencers of all age.

CAMP DETAILS

Duration : One Intensive 10-Day; 2-Hour Session; 17-26 November 2017.
  • 17 Nov : 5-7pm, 8-10pm;
  • 18-19 Nov : 9-11am, 12noon-1pm, 2-4pm, 5-7pm, 8-10pm;
  • 19-24 Nov : 5-7pm, 8-10pm;
  • 25-26 Nov : 9-1pm, 2-7pm, 8-10pm.
Venue : Lei Yue Mun Park, Chai Wan, Hong Kong SAR.
Purpose : Experience Sharing & Preparation for Competitons in Spring 2018.
Feature : Body Workout, Drills, Group Session, Individual Clinics, Talk & Experience Sharing Sections.

COACH

Coach In-Charge : Edward Pak, STEPIO
Visitor 1 : Valerio Aspromonte, the reputable Italian champion foil fencer and gold medalist of London 2012 Olympics.
Visitor 2 : Stefano Cinotti, respectful fencing masetro of 3 weapons in Pisa, Italy.
Optional : Luigi Samele for Saber, Matteo Tagliariol for épée, as Olympic and World Champions - avalability TBC.
Staff : A group of trainers, tutors and support coaches and technical weapon repair armourer.

PARTICIPANT

Weapon : Foil, épée and saber.
Gender : Male and female.
Age Limit : Age of 6 or above.
Maximum : 50 athletes.
Group : Athletes to be divided based on age, technical abilities and weapons.

COST

Camp Fee Per Athlete :
  • HKD400 per each camp session;
  • HKD3,600 for day camps on 17-19 November, totally 12 sessions (@$300/session);
  • HKD4,500 for day & evening camps on 19-24 November, totally 15 sessions (@$300/session);
  • HKD4,200 for evening & night camps on 24-26 November, totally 12 sessions (@$350/session);
  • HKD8,000 for day, evening & night camps on 17-26 November, totally 32 sessions (@$250/session).
Hostel at Park :
  • Single bed per person;
  • FREE for Athletes who attend either 24-26 November sessions or 17-26 November;
  • HKD100 per night per parent, subject to availability.
Outside Hotel : 9-night NOT included; Bed-and-Breakfast or hotel; twin bedded or triple or quadruple standard room can be arranged.
Meal : Park's cafeteria paid at cost; breakfast, lunch and dinner available at ~HKD20-45 per person.

Airfare & Other Expenses : Airfare, daily meals and expenses related to dining-out, private gathering among athletes, transports and suveniors are NOT included. 

Accompanied STEPIO Coach : STEPIO arranges accompanied coach with the athletes who register with STEPIO from Macao, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taipei, Taichung and Moscow. It is USD60 per day EXTRA to the Camp Fee.

Private Lesson : USD90 per half hour with your selected Coach; Reserve with STEPIO earlier once completing pre-registration.

Example of Total Cost (Traveling Budget): Athlete Josh will attend the Camp with STEPIO accompanied coach for the whole trip. Leaving New York on 16 November and coming back on 27 November from Hong Kong.
